What does chelating mean?
"Chelating" refers to a product that binds metal ions and minerals in water so that they can be rinsed out of the hair. Substances that accumulate in hard water, such as copper and iron, can make the hair dull, rough and change the tone of the hair color. The chelating product removes these impurities, leaving the hair feeling cleaner, brighter and softer.

DS Three-Step mineral removing Treatment
Impurities in the hair and scalp mean normal sebum and styling product build-up residue. In addition to that, minerals such as copper, iron, calcium, magnesium and chlorine accumulate in the hair from water and air. These make the hair color look dull and especially on blonde hair, you may even see discoloration. Deep cleansing of hair should done regularly

We recommend using deep cleansing shampoo 1-4 times a month, depending on use of styling products and water quality. If you want a complete deep cleansing experience, continue treatment with DS Mineral Removing Elixir and Balm.

Step 1 - Apply Mineral Removing Shampoo to damp hair. Lather, leave on for 1-5 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Continue with DS Mineral Removing Elixir.
Step 2- Apply Mineral Removing Elixir evenly through the hair after shampooing and leave on for 10-30 minutes. Make sure that the hair stays moist throughout the processing time. Rinse thoroughly and continue treatment with DS Mineral Removing Balm.
Step 3 -Apply Mineral Removing Balm evenly to towel-dried hair, leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
